I'm not myself this morning

In the window seat, I see the light

We sleep on the train through the night

The ocean seemed so far away

We could hardly see it through the trees

I miss the sound the water made

Was I complete at twenty-three?

In a light show of emotion now

I watch the Monday morning rise

The sun was coming up on time
