Letra de Maktub - Belly

(Feat.

I miss the days when my grandma was makin' akkoub

They took everything that we own, بس قوله محسوب

My heart frozen over, I'm prayin', إنشالله بي دوب, مكتوب

My grandmother sat on the stoop with her feet in the water

I had a dream that one day, I'd see a free Falasteen with my daughter

Freedom is God-given and I know it was all written in a metaphor

The heavens await, but I'ma be late, I'm patient, I know what we're destined for

Freedom forever more

جيل ما بينسى فلسطين

بدرب الشمس

يا ارض النور

Born and raised in the Gaza strip, forever my paradise

When life is a gamble and I've never even owned a pair of dice

I think my loved ones and my family that sacrificed

So I wrote this verse on the moon (Take a breath)

The day that I left, my grandmama gave me this rosary

May God rest his soul, but I know she know wherever I'm goin', it's close to me

I look around at the world and I pray 'cause I know this is not what it's supposed to be

I miss Falasteen and the scenery, that's why I speak of the thievery 'til all of my people free
