The Mountain - Gorillaz Album Letras

“The Mountain” is the ninth studio album by the British virtual band Gorillaz, created by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett. It is scheduled for release on March 20, 2026, under the Kong record label, owned by the band, and distributed by Sony Music’s subsidiary, The Orchard. 

The album features 15 tracks and includes a wide range of international collaborators, including Sparks, Yasiin Bey, Trueno, Bizarrap, Idles, Johnny Marr, Anoushka Shankar, Omar Souleyman, Black Thought, Kara Jackson, Paul Simonon, Ajay Prasanna, Asha Bhosle, Asha Puthli, Gruff Rhys, Jalen Ngonda, Tony Allen, Dennis Hopper, Mark E. Smith, Bobby Womack, Dave Jolicoeur, and Proof. 

Production was handled by Gorillaz, James Ford, Samuel Egglenton, Remi Kabaka Jr., and Bizarrap. Recordings took place in various studios across the United Kingdom, India, Syria, Turkmenistan, the United States, and other countries. 

To promote the album, Gorillaz held a series of concerts in London in September 2025, where they performed the album in its entirety. In addition, a European tour titled The Mountain Tour has been announced, scheduled to take place between March and June 2026. 

The first single from the album, titled “The Happy Dictator”, features Sparks and was released in September 2025.
